The task sounded very simple at first. “We need more office space.” As a basis, we had an office floor at our disposal, which consisted of two separate areas. On the one hand a classical office used by a financial services provider and on the other hand a former practice for physiotherapy. However, this had been parceled out by the simplest means and could therefore not be use.

The two areas were merged by a generous connection of the rooms. A very large room was created which was to be transformed into a lively office through optimized design in order to offer visitors a bright and friendly environment.  A strict separation of office and visitors was not desired, but the requirements of data protection and discretion should nevertheless be met. With the help of visibly “invisible” room dividers, a natural barrier was created between the visitor area and office workplaces, without this “border” affecting the size of the room in the slightest.
