This project involved furnishing an existing hotel suite for permanent use. To do this, we had to completely redesign the hotel’s own standard furniture and wall finishes. The existing rustic wooden floor was simply refurbished and left in place as it fits in perfectly with the new interior.
The bedrooms were each equipped with air conditioning. The technically necessary outdoor units were covered with wood by a local carpentry in order to integrate them inconspicuously into the overall impression of the balconies and terraces.
When selecting the objects and wall materials, emphasis was placed on not losing sight of the theme of the Alps and mountains, but not creating an exaggerated “cottage atmosphere”. The media technology was modernised by installing new multimedia televisions.
The result is a very modern, yet cosy hotel suite in Austria.
